Theyr, a leader in voyage optimisation technology, will release its Charter Party (CP) Dynamic Optimisation Module in August, in collaboration with Charterer’ specialists Rensmarine.
The new Dynamic CP Module integrates Charter Party compliance calculations directly into the T.VOS optimisation engine, providing stakeholders with real-time Charter Party Compliance insights such fuel consumption, time performance, emissions, good & bad weather performance and financial impact, both at voyage planning stage and dynamically during transit.
Key Features:
- Dynamic Charter Party (DCP) Algorithm supporting Charter Party (CP) contract terms through voyage-specific data.
- Comprehensive Compliance Monitoring for performance, fuel and emissions.
- Integrated Bad and Good weather constraints defining voyage financials.
- Leveraging live weather forecasts and past voyage data.
- Projected End of Sea Passage (EOSP) for predictive calculations based on past, current and forecasted performance
By incorporating past track data, the system enables evolving compliance and performance assessment in transit. It also introduces CP-specific route optimisation, generating optimised CP routes for either shipowners or charterers, reflecting their differing commercial goals and objectives.
“This is a pivotal step forward,” said Peter Mantel, Chief Commercial Officer at Theyr. “We’re equipping users with actionable, contract-aligned insights that close the gap between planning and execution and will improve transparency between charterer and owner”
“We’re thrilled to partner with Theyr on this innovation,” added Capt. Richard van Renswoude, Managing Director at Rensmarine. “Our unparalleled deep knowledge and experience in CP compliance calculations forms the backbone of the CP Algorithm, allowing for unmatched accuracy in real-time CP compliance.”
